PowderMills is a 18th C. listed Country House Hotel in 150 acres of parks and woodlands, situated outside the historic town of Battle. The hotel is richly furnished with antiques and has log fires in the public rooms in winter. The hotel can cater for weddings, conferences and private parties up to 250 guests.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Five of our suites are located in the Pavilion, a short walk from the main hotel. The suites in the Pavilion have their own private balconies. All suites boast beautiful views and are equipped with king size beds and marble bathrooms with sunken baths.

Light and airy, the Orangery, is a charming and impressive setting for lunch or dinner. The hotel has its own organic farm, producing fresh vegetables, herbs,eggs, poultry, beef and pork. From: London - Take junction 5 off the M25, following the A21 towards Hastings. At John's Cross follow the A2100 to Battle.
Once in Battle, drive through the High Street, past the Battle Abbey which is on your right, then straight across at the mini roundabout, taking the first turning on the right into Powdermill Lane, just before Battle Train Station. Down the lane 1 mile, the hotel is located on the right hand side after a sharpe bend.
